What is Bento?

Bento is a Japanese word. Basically, bento is a home packed lunch or take out box. But like a lot of Japanese things bentos are more artistic and aesthetically pleasing than typical American brown bags. This is my journal of my attempt at bentos. Since I am not a seafood eater, my bentos will contain more "American " food, but I hope they are just as pretty.
